Radio Silence - Sharky Excuse

Blogs are like beasts. They need to be fed - daily. As you may have noticed Underwater Thrills has been silent for the past 10 days.

While the shark world continued on without us, we were in the Bahamas filming sharks for a new television show on SPIKE TV.

While I cannot tell you the details about the show until it airs I can tell you about a shark site "stuffed" with 6 Tigers and 30 Lemons, perfect weather, and a top rate film crew who nailed it on every take. Tiger Beach has never seen a more perfect combination of weather, television and sharks.

This is what we like to do in our spare time. I also have to pass on some huge Kudos to Luke Tipple and Scott Cassell who ran the dive safety program. Both of these divers are consummate watermen and first rate big shark handlers.

Special mention to Neptunic Shark Suits for the safety gear for our additional crew.

Sometimes being in the middle of nowhere is a good thing when you're with the sharks. If you have a blog to feed, not so good.

Glad to be back.

Hope that the final product of this shoot is better than what has been coming out - specially considering this is SPIKE TV.

That was a foremost consideration.
