Goblin girl on... a mysterious fin!

Last week I got an e-mail from two sport fishermen who had been fishing on the west coast of Sweden, quite near the Norwegian border. They were fishing for Atlantic mackerel when a fin showed up. They managed to snap a few shots before the dark shadow disappeared. The question now is: what is it? Some say shark other whale... Most people doesn't even dare do hazard a guess! So... what's your opinion? Let me know!

I'm Now 99% percent sure its fake ...
First the Fin looks to perfect !
The ideal perspective of the picture with the fin fully out of the water. Just makes me think a of setup ...
Secondly only two pics ? No videos ?
Another thing look at the teenager in the picture don't tell me he can be taken seriously.

Voila !

The top picture is over-exposed creating really high contrast level, which could be the reason for it looking "fake" (the other reason could be that it actually is fake). If you view the hi-res image, the way the light reflecting off the water "refracts" (not sure what the appropriate word is here) on the anterior of the dorsal fin near the tip looks fairly consistent with the rest of the light reflections off the water. Also, there definitely seems to be some appropriate disruption in the water behind the fin, indicating that something was breaking the surface there. The big thing that jumps out at me, though, is that the sun, the single light source in the image, appears to be off to the upper-left in both photos, yet in the close-up of the dorsal fin, the shadow of the fin gives the appearance that the light source is off to the upper-right.

If it's a fake, they should at least get some points for the way the light shines around the anterior of the dorsal fin. That aspect of it when you zoom in on the hi-res is fairly convincing. The direction of the shadow is what really doesn't seem to jive to me, though.

Also, this seems to be an older photo. The animal in question may be extinct by now. Richard Jefferson doesn't play for the Nets anymore.

It could very well be the tip of an orca fin. It would make total sense..
