Sharks of Isla Guadalupe-"Scarboard"

In our continuing series-The Sharks of Isla Guadalupe we would be missing something if we failed to introduce you to this big gal we call "Scarboard". She's a simply magnificent animal and one of the reasons Isla Guadalupe is so special to us.

What makes "Scarboard" unique are the huge scar patterns on her "starboard side" hence her name. We tend to name sharks by easy names so our crew can quickly identify the animals. Scarboard is about 16+ and well over 2000lbs, she's always followed by a pack of pilot fish.
